As most would have guessed, this blog has been written retroactively.
The recollections are as good as I can make them - and I have every intention of completing the events of that week.
This post is realtime, and my sister and I are about to get in the car to take mom home. Mom has no phones and no internet, and while I've explored posting via cell. I've come to the conclusion that writing is best done in quiet reflection, and this is not likely to happen in the coming week.
The full story will be posted - it has to get out of my head - but it will be the 17th of October before I'm back from Mississippi.
