Election watching for fun and profit

The Washington Post is running a game where you pick the winners and losers of the midterm election.

It's called Midterm Madness, and the best guesser stands to win... well, a measly $100 bucks (Jeez guys, you'd think you could spring for something a little jazzier. Hell, even shoe stores give away iPod Nanos these days... )

Anyway, make yer picks, take yer chances. It may be the only fun you get out of the midterms.

Fun? Midterms?
Surely you jest.
On Tuesday I want to vote and then seal myself in an isolation chamber until all the results are in, counted, re-counted and signed by whomever validates elections.
Then I'll either drink to celebrate or remain in a numbed stupor until 2008.
