there was no better choice for this year's press club shindig than the hiLARious rich little, if the goal was to hit us over the head with what a bunch of lame-asses those people are, and how great last year's event was with colbert.
i think that someone was attempting to make some kind of point by getting rich little this year, instead. whatever the intention was, predictably, it backfired by being skin-crawlingly embarrassing. what i *don't* get, is why mr. little accepted the job.
