I just think it's illuminating how reflexive the use of benign or hostile language is in the press.
I get that we would describe the conduct of our allies differently, but the events exist in parallel - even if the terms we use to describe them don't.

For a society so obsessed with mirrors, most see only what they want, and even that is just skin deep.
