After spending a couple months in Britain I came to the same conclusion. There are places you can go to buy actual British candy bars here -- like World Market, or that Irish themed shop in Hilldale. Still, not quite the same as dropping 40p into the candybar machine on the Tube and having a Cadbury's Fruit and Nut whilst waiting for your train.
There's other things they have that are better there: 1)Beer, Ale, Lager, Bitter 2)Prime Minister's Question Time 3)Public Transportation 4)A complete lack of hysteria on the part of the general public re: "Terrorism" 5)Monty Python
