On presidential oaths

JB over at Balkinization has a right hissy fit about oaths of office, and how they should be said.
Article II, section 7 provides:

7. Before he enter on the execution of his office, he shall take the following oath or affirmation:
"I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the office of the President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States."

[snip]

In this case, Obama added the words "Barack Hussein Obama" after the word "I" and "So help me God" at the end of the oath. Furthermore, he deleted the words "(or affirm)."

The mind boggles at this display of utter lawlessness.

Kinda fun, but probably more text than the ridiculous subject deserves.
