Corruption scorecard

USA Today answers Robert Grant's challenge with a listing of per capita public corruption convictions

North Dakota leads the nation with 8.3 per 100,000.

Followed by
  • Lousiana - 7.7
  • Alaska - 7.5
  • Mississippi - 7.3
  • Montana - 6.2
Dang. Illinois didn't even make the top 10.
What does a state have to do to make it to the top?!!

These guys disagree with your list:

The list I'm citing the top 5 on is from USA today - which (flawed though it is) at least covers all 50 states. That Corporate Crime Reporter survey of 35 most populous states is messed up.

Why rank corruption across only 35 states?

Weird.

Corporate Crime Reporter does have a good rabble rousing list of reasons to worry about corporate crime, though.
