Okay, one of G.W.'s handlers needs to b!tch-slap him right the f(_)ck now. Here he is, in a videoconference with military and civilian workers in Afghanistan:

“I must say, I’m a little envious,” Bush said. “If I were slightly younger and not employed here, I think it would be a fantastic experience to be on the front lines of helping this young democracy succeed.”

“It must be exciting for you…in some ways romantic, in some ways, you know, confronting danger.”

I mean - most everyone knows how bad this man is at public speaking, but does he have to prove how insensitive and clueless he is every time he opens his pie-hole?

Romantic... yes I'm sure that's how they see it.
