This is all over the place, but you have to see this. I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought he was God-awful.
I'm with Toobin. The speech was so bad, I turned the channel out of embarrassment for the guy. His out of sync applause lines - combined with a crowd that vacillated between coma and forced enthusiasm made this memorably bad (even without comparing it to Obama's).
People are all about the green screen (whatever) but this was practically a Dukakis moment. I'm wooden, artificial and unable to read my teleprompter - vote for me!
