What if it were all a set up?

Iraq that is?

What we find far more intriguing is a second report issued by the committee on the activities of former Undersecretary of Defense Douglas Feith and other underlings of former Defense Secretary Donald H. Rumsfeld.
In the second report we learn that Rummy's close aide, Steve Cambone, shut down a counter-intelligence investigation after only a month that questioned whether the Pentagon might have been fed misleading information by Iranian agents.
Now, there's any number of good reasons that Cambone might have put the kibosh on an investigation like that. But, given all the rumblings about Ahmad Chalabi and Iran, you have to wonder if a thorough investigation would have found something.
