Bag of salt

Mea culpa on the Georgia post earlier. While I thought Michael J. Totten's post on Georgia was an interesting counterpoint - I was curious why all the Tblisi posters on his website were in English instead of Georgian.

Obviously - they were aimed at a foreign audience. So, apparently was the entire post. That is not so surprising, but CJR is pointing out a telling detail: he'd had assistance from official Georgian media representatives. By itself, that doesn't mean his post is bunk - but it certainly rounds out any opinion of the post.

It is important to note that if the author did not come through he would not again be recommended for any other PSA's such as this seems to be. His article is simply too one sided and too directly opposite of the more commonly discussed actions.
