Senator Chris Dodd (D - Conn) speaking at today's hearings on the Wall Street bailout:
The witnesses have spent most of the day trying to convince the panel to set aside punitive measures for executives until after the bailout. But Senator Dodd heard enough of that by 1:24 p.m., and decided to draw a line in the sand. Any bailout would “include executive compensation,” he said. “Count on it.”Nice.
Dodd's got the right hammer - let's see if his colleagues let him swing it.
