Freddie and Fannie: Open the barn door wider

The Bush era conservatives are fond of claiming that government is the problem. In this instance, its fairly clear that Freddie and Fannie's problems are due to a free market run amok.

That the modern GOP would look at the current situation and proscribe a bigger dose of the current disease is pretty appalling.
