Here's our esteemed Atty. General Michael Mukasey telling us that there will be no prosecutions of those who politicized DoJ hiring procedures:
Where there is enough evidence to charge someone with a crime, we vigorously prosecute. But not every wrong, or even every violation of the law, is a crime.Allow me to translate:
I will do my job - as I understand it - to the best of my ability. And I've been informed that my job is to do as little as possible.Remember when this guy was seen as a breath of fresh air?
How far the DoJ has fallen.
