Mitt's done. Awww...we hardly knew ye.
It's just that what we did know - made ya look like a complete tool. A GOP governor of Massachusetts with a bi-partisan track record of achievements would seem to have been a better fit.
But then, he didn't run on that record. He chose to invent himself as a staunch conservative. A divider as opposed to a uniter.
Appeal to the far right ('We Ought To Double Guantanamo' "who's with me?!") and you get beat by the very guy you were trying not to be - someone who does not have the trust of the far right.
Boy, there's some irony there.
